HAVING YOUR EVENT USING OUR LIQUOR LICENSE
At any event, we can operate the bar for you. You don't pay corkage charges, there is no cost for bartenders etc. We offer a full bar selection, including 20 cocktails, 25 shooters, 25 regular and premium brands. The following prices apply to most socials and all weddings where the bride and groom are providing an "open" bar:
$3.00 Regular Beer, Rye - Gibson Finest Sterling , Vodka- Skyy Quad Distilled, White Rum - Bacardi
Other Selections $3.00 - $3.75: Heineken & Corona beer, Baha Rosa, Crown Royal Rye, Amaretto, Appletons Amber Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Sour Puss, Sambuca, Gilbey Gin, Grant's Scotch Coruba Jamaican Dark Rum, & 10 Liqueurs
Premium Selection $4.25 Sauza Gold Tequila, Jagermeister, Single Malt
$3.75 Cocktails (Caesar, Paralyzer, Long Island, Alabama Slammers, over 20 to choose from !)
$5.25 Coolers including Smirnoff Ice. Bacardi Breezers etc,

Permit Functions: At THE COPA ONLY you have the OPTION of obtaining your own liquor permit from the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission. This is not an option at Regent Park Hall.
Under this arrangement you must:
*Obtain the permit and ensure all applicable MLCC regulations are adhered to. We provide bartending staff
*MLCC fees, supplementary fees due of $2.50 per case of beer or bottle of liquor
*The permit holder must deal with the MLCC inspector when they arrive, be in attendance the entire evening,
and remain sober.
*Personal Liability insurance for the hosts / permit holder is your responsibility
*Purchase in advance all beer & liquor
*Delivery - Arrange for transporting and unloading all alcohol
*Remove all alcohol and empties at the end of the evening.
*You must use liquor tickets and provide your own tickets, change and ticket sellers all evening
*Permit functions end at 1 a.m. not 2 a.m. Last call is 12:30 for permits
*Clearing tables - At socials, you must provide volunteers for clearing tables through out the evening
*End of the evening clean up- you are responsible for cleaning up tables, floors, removing decorations etc,
*Corkage is charged - We then provide all glasses, soft drinks, juice, ice & bartenders.
*Discounted pricing does not apply on social late lunch
*FREE DJ bonus is not available on permit events and you must use our DJ service
*A bar set up fee applies to all permit events
*Minimum guarantee is 350 persons at permit SOCIALS (applies to food & corkage), no discounts applicable. minimum is 200 at weddings
Corkage Fees On Copa Permit Events
*Socials - $3.95 per person, minimum 350 charged
*Weddings - $8.95 per person, minimum 200 charged, includes wine service if required
*PST, GST and gratuity are levied on all corkage
When all costs are factored in, almost all of our customers now choose NOT to obtain a liquor permit, and leave the alcohol issues to us! They find this arrangemnet to be cost effective and convenient. Don't worry about corkage charges, and enjoy the specials available to customers using our license
